Nobody knew where the butterflies came from.

One minute, she was standing in her kitchen staring out the window. The next, they were everywhere—drifting through the air like thoughts that had finally escaped.

She wasn't surprised.

People who knew her had long accepted that she operated on a different frequency. Ideas arrived faster than she could write them down. Conversations turned into sketches. Sketches became plans. Plans became obsessions.

Most people called it creativity.

Others called it chaos.

She slipped on the ridiculous spiral glasses she bought years ago from a roadside shop and stepped outside. The world instantly felt louder. Brighter. Less interested in following rules.

The butterflies gathered around her head, landing in her hair, brushing past her shoulders, filling the space above her like a living crown.

She laughed.

Not because anything was funny, but because sometimes your mind gets so full of possibilities that laughter is the only thing left to do.

Each butterfly felt familiar. One carried an unfinished idea. Another a forgotten dream. A few were projects she'd abandoned years ago that somehow found their way back.

The more she watched them, the more she realized they weren't arriving.

They were leaving.

For years she'd carried thousands of thoughts around in her head, protecting them, overthinking them, waiting for the right moment. Now they were finally taking flight on their own.

The butterflies rose higher into the afternoon sky.

Some disappeared.

Some stayed.

And for the first time in a long while, she stopped trying to catch them.

She simply stood there, smiling, watching her imagination become something real.

She was transforming into a Rare Breed.
