GERA Estate is located in the Djimma Zone, home of the O.G. coffee trees. These sage beans offer up some of the most unique flavors in coffee. Add a natural anaerobic process, AKA oxygen-less, and you have a mind-blowing coffee. The coffee cherries are put in a metal tank and the oxygen is sucked out. This anaerobic processing step shifts things just enough to introduce wild flavors. GERA Estate serves up some kick-ass coffee, but they also provide housing, childcare and education, clean drinking water, electricity, healthcare, and recreational facilities for all of its employees; free of charge. A rarity indeed.
